Service Description

Collation of background information (details about your child’s development, and interests and any other medical conditions) Information gathering from other professionals and education staff in your child's nursery/school. Careful observation and assessment of your child’s communication skills through play Full language assessment using informal and formal assessments to give an indication of your child’s communication needs Initial Assessment Summary giving an overview of your child’s communication skills and needs following the initial assessment. Suggested targets for therapy input if required. Guidance for supporting your child’s speech and language at home. A short summary report with in 4 weeks of assessment. This can take between 2-3 hours.
