Hello, my name is Sophie, and I have worked as a paediatric Speech and Language Therapist for almost 14 years — and I truly love what I do.
I currently work three days a week within the NHS as a Highly Specialised Speech and Language Therapist, supporting children with Cleft Lip and Palate and Velopharyngeal Dysfunction. Alongside this, I have extensive experience supporting a wide range of children’s communication needs, including:
-
Phonological Delay
-
Speech Sound Disorders
-
Childhood Apraxia of Speech
-
Selective Mutism
-
Stammering
-
Autism
-
Developmental Language Disorder
I live in Melton Mowbray with my family and have three children, all now at school. As both a parent and a professional, I understand the pressures of navigating developmental milestones and wanting the very best support for your child.
I am happy to travel across Leicestershire and can offer appointments at home or within preschool and school settings. Therapy can be arranged as a one-off consultation or as ongoing support, depending on your child’s individual needs.
Please feel free to contact me to discuss any questions or concerns you may have.
