Service Description

Hours would be 9-3 Up to five students seen per day for an individual, 30-45 minute therapy session SLT support in setting up language, speech or phonology groups to be run by school staff in-between SLT visits. Training for teaching and support staff to help students in the classroom. Requirements: A designated, quiet, and private space will be required for all Speech and Language Therapy work and administration to be carried out in each school. School staff will be prepared with a time for student sessions and students should be available and ready for their allocated session. If they are not, this will affect the SLT’s ability to carry out the designated sessions for the specified 45 minutes. Reports, input for EHCPs and attendance at annual review meetings will be charged on a case-by-case basis or further discussion of this can be agreed.
